Set on the background of the beautiful Mediterranean, Strept Away is the most famous and controversial movie Line Wertmuller about sex, love and politics. On the elegant yacht that crushed along the coast of Sardinia, Raffaella (Mariangela Melato), a rich and stunning capitalist, enjoys torture Gennarino (Giancarlo Giannini), a communist sailor. The fate of the TKA is a different scenario and roles are revealed when the two find themselves on an abandoned island. Raffaella has to endure Gennarin in order to survive, culminating in a dramatic peak when saving them. They must determine whether their love can survive the sharp reality of civilization.
